New Ministerial Role

I was honoured to be appointed by First Minister Humza Yousaf to serve the people of Scotland as the new Minister for Drugs and Alcohol Policy.

I have direct experience of working with individuals experiencing severe and multiple disadvantage, including those dealing with problem drug use and the associated harms and trauma.

I am committed to continuing the work of Angela Constance and all working so hard on our collective national mission to tackle drugs deaths. We have lost far too many people and I am determined to do all I can in this sphere to deliver change.
