Logan Primary School visit the Scottish Parliament

One of the very best bits of being a MSP is encouraging our young people’s interest in Scottish politics, and I was thrilled to meet with the pupils of Logan Primary School in the Scottish Parliament today.

I hope they enjoyed their tour of our National Parliament and FMQ’s.

And whether it is meeting pupils from my constituency in Parliament, or visiting their schools – the best questions come from our young people and I love sparking their interest and encouraging them to be all they can be, as there are no barriers to politics in Scotland, and they are our leaders of tomorrow.

The Scottish Parliament prides itself on its openness to all and supporting visits of individuals or groups to see the building via a guided tour, or for people to get tickets to observe Parliamentary business in the Chamber.

The Scottish Parliament also delivers education sessions to over 22,000 Scottish pupils every year as well as hosting school visits.

If any individual or group from Carrick, Cumnock and Doon Valley wishes to visit Parliament, get in touch with my local office and we will assist with your visit.
